The synthesizers in this piece are derived from a digitally destructive procedure where the plates from "He Disappeared into Complete Silence" by Louise Bourgeois are analyzed and reprocessed.

Points of interest such as lines, colors and locations of high contrast are located and used to indicate, among other thing, the frequency of 12 digital oscillators (8 Sin, 4 Square), the shape of the envelope for each pulse, and a number of effects.

The audio is then mixed together, split into 4 identical audio channels and pitched down a unison, a major second, a minor third and a fifth. The four channels are then given an enthusiastic mixing treatment.

This aforementioned points of interest are then highlighted on the images with lines, slowly causing them to change and fade until the canvas is completely white.

The algorithms are imperfect and simple so aberrations are introduced which echo through each later iteration slowly smoothing out and fading away with the image.
